Magog Morris was founded in 1974 in the Horsham area of West Sussex. The dance season of 2023 /2024 sees magog celebrating our 50th birthday and we are planning lots of exciting things.

We dance a variety of traditions including Cotswold, Stave, Northwest clog , Garland and our own Horsham tradition.

Our kit consists of white dresses , and pinny and shawl in our own individual bright colours with garlands to match.

Our musicians wear black trousers or skirts, white shirts and black waistcoats with our colourful Magog emblem on the back.

We have a busy programme planned for this year but with the sad demise and uncertainty of so many pubs we apologise if venues may change through the year.

We plan to start our practice season at our usual venue, Mannings Heath Village Hall, Tuesday evenings, from late September.

If you fancy joining us as a dancer or musician , please contact our bagman Kay or come and find us when we are out dancing. We are a very friendly , fun, welcoming bunch .
